It is important to know your customer (your target market) before you try to sell them. Almost 40% of all jobs are sales positions. And the vast majority of these are individual sales positions (people selling products/services to other people). 2. Collect visitor email data (in a subtle manner). Don't use a hover box, they are too common, distracting and irritating to your visitor. They tend to give a bad impression more often than they help. Instead, simply offer your visitor something in an inline box.

3. Use testimonials where people thank you for the recommendation. For example, "Hey John, thank you for letting me know about {product}", etc.

4. Make you website or blog have a 3rd party appearance. This is important. Your website should not look affiliated with the product, especially if your website is a review of the product.

5. Use a clean design with soft graphics. Fancy graphics will over power your page. The sales page is where the visitors will go "wow" and the graphics there is what will help SELL the product. Your graphics shouldn't sell the product. Your graphics should subtly pre-sell the product.

6. Use multiple pages. Make a complete web site not just a single page lander. Send your visitors to different pages depending on what they search for. Make a seperate page for each product or feature that a person may search for. Then send them to the product's sales page. If they search for "closing sales", your page should talk about how to close a sale. If they search for "selling retail", your page should talk about how they can sell retail products/services better.

7. Using a review style site increases conversions. Be sure to list our product as #1!

8. Target your PPC campaigns as tight as possible to reduce your CPC.

9. Track your conversions at keyword level! Use software such as Xtreme Conversions if possible.

10. Do not think that Google is the only profitable search engine. There is also MSN, Yahoo, 7 Search + many more!

11. Always split test your PPC ads. To do this you should always have 2 or 3 ads running at the same time. Every couple of weeks check to see what ad has the higher click through rate. Re-write the lower performing ad. Note: A higher click through rate will improve your campaigns quality score which means you will end up paying less per click.

Keywords

We have created a large list of keywords related to the product. In addition to this list you can obtain potential keywords using the Google Keyword Tool.

These keywords may be used for PPC campaigns or your can write keyword rich articles to drive traffic to your list. Be sure to always track what keywords are making you sales.

Email Marketing Letters

The most effective form of Internet marketing is through the use of email lists. And we'll provide you with several very effective sales letters to send to your list.

But first...

Let me tell you how to get the most from your efforts. There are three very important concepts that will maximize the potential money you can make marketing to your email list.

1- Send multiple letters. Many list owners will only send one sales letter to their list, and that's a big mistake. Sure, they may get a great response from that letter, but they aren't getting the maximum response. There will be many who may not read that first letter or put off acting on it and then forget about it. Whatever the reason, there will be many who fail to respond.

If a second follow up letter is sent to the list, many additional people will respond. And the same thing will happen if a third follow up letter is sent. The follow up letters will capture many who failed to respond to the first letter. And as a result, those additional sales letters produce more money for you.

For that reason, I have provided not just one, but three sales letters for you to use and send to your list. Email the first letter now. Email the second one in two - three days. And then the third letter in two - three days after the second letter. By sending at least three highly effective sales letters, you'll maximize the response and the potential profit you'll make.

2- Broadcast your list. The fastest and easiest way to create an immediate cash surge is to email a powerful sales letter to everyone that is currently on your list. This is called a broadcast, you're broadcasting a message to everyone on your list.

Use the three sales letters provided below. Send one letter immediately, a second one in two - three days and the third one in two - three days after the second.

3- Insert into your follow up. This is a step many web owners fail to do. And as a result, they miss a lot of potential income. More than likely, when someone joins your list you already have a series of letters you send to them. These are follow up messages, messages that follow up after a person joins the list.

Include our three sales letters in your current follow up series. If you already have a series of ten letters that will be sent to a new list subscriber, add our letters to the end of your series. That way, once the person has received all your currently scheduled letters he'll then receive our sales letters. And of course, you'll get your affiliate commission if a sale results.

Broadcasting will solicit the current members on your list. Follow up messages will solicit new members of your list. And best of all, this is a task you'll only have to perform once! But you'll make money continually into the future.

If you'll follow these three steps, you'll make the most of your affiliate efforts and earn the maximum money possible.

1. Copy and paste the sales letter.

2. There are certain places where your autoresponder should insert the list member's first name. Various autoresponders use different codes to do this. In the sales letters below you'll see the code [[firstname]] at the locations where the first name should appear. I'll make this code bold so you can easily find each occurance and, if necessary, change it for the autoresponder you use.
